A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
THEg is an third-person action-adventure bondage game taking place in a fictive dystopian world set in the current time in a small city.
An economic crysis will make the biggest companies enforce new laws against public opinion to force people into work to pay their debts.
The government decided to do an experiment in a few small cities to monitor how effective it would be. Naturally your city is one of the first ones.
These laws were blurry enough to allow a new kind of businesses to appear. You start right after the annoucement of these laws.
You play as two main characters:
- A young woman who just started her model career.
- A young man, who studies economics and wants to become a novelist, working part-time as a delivery man.
What to expect in the current free version
- Female characters: The current free version only includes female characters at the moment, males are planned to be implemented in the 0.2 update.
- No sex: Sadly, not in this until the 0.2 update with Male characters.
- Character customization
- Breast
- Clothes: You can customize your character outfit by going into the "Wardrobe" page in the character menu.
- Restraints: Ropes, Leather straps, Ziptie, Tape
- Gags: Ballgag, Cleave-gag, OTM-gags
- Outfits: You can save your current outfit and give it a cute name! There's is also no limits on the amount of outfits you can have. They will be saved globally, meaning, you can use your outfits in other saves.
- Basic AI: Patrols, chase and restrain you.
- And more: You have many ways to interact with the world around you, by approaching a character or object, by aiming at it with or without an equiped item. All you need to do is explore the game. ;)
Keep in mind, this is an early access and everything is mostly done by myself, the visuals and content of the game are subject to change over time.

hi i can see that 0.1.6.1 is out yet it only lets me download 0.1.2.3 is this intended or do i need to go somewhere else to download?
At the time i am writing this comment, the only version published on this page is the free version of the game which is older than the latest one. If you want the current one, look at the description of the game on this page.

Game is amazing. Just don't know how to complete the first level. How to escape the facility?
you don't. not yet at least. the game is very much still in alpha development but available to play as its being made. Author wants feed back on how to improve as its built up. they have been in the works by small pieces for second level, but they want you to be able to access the "Apartment" first before the second level is released.

Hi. You need to grab the NPCs from behind and hold a restraint item in your hand by either opening the inventory and clicking on the item or by using the quick access menu (Q by default).
how to grab the NPCs? E and left mouse click doesnt work.
Quick question, when the men are added, will we be able to toggle them on/off?
No however you will be able to toggle their sexual interactions on or off.
really liked the free version, it has its jank of course, but thats to be expected, definitely gonna show you some love on your subscribestar, i wanna see where this goes ^^

One thing I would like to see is a way to make struggling go faster like an toggleable option in the settings, as for me I find spending 5 to 10 mins watching the PC get out of her bonds a little tedious and tiresome after the first few times other then that I like how this game is progressing and look forward to seeing more
If you put in 9 points of attachment in the rooms, one above and one below, one to the right and left, and then one in each corner top and bottom (not corner, but mid room) you could allow for more positions. Hands above and together or apart with feet together or apart. I did try hanging from the single point in the ceiling with multiple ropes, but when you do the ankles, the ankles take over, be cool if it was more of a horizontal suspension instead of vertical, or maybe you could choose. Nipple clamps I would think would be easy to add. Braided hair that is braided into rope for an attachment. Sliver chains could be another style. And, wrists and ankle cuffs (metal or leather). And definitely a body harness with side attachments. I know all that is a lot of work. You have done a great job so far.
You could make a video game out of what you already have. Need a mission of saving some women that are already tied up. Right now though you can walk from one floor to the next just by walking straight through. If you run, no one can catch you. If you walk, everyone ignores you, or you might get 1 person after you that you can easily shake off. It also doesn't make since they never help each other. 2 against 1 could have a person on each arm that makes it more difficult to escape. 3 against 1 could have a person on each arm and one from behind that makes it harder than 2 to 1 to escape. And, then 4 to 1 should be impossible to escape with 1 on each arm and one behind and one in front. You could make a clean version with a different name that would increase your audience and income. Also, I wouldn't worry about making it more perfect with clothing, but you will increase your audience faster if you add more clothing and outfits. Oh, and your inventory keeps freezing during the game and you have to save and reload.
when I quicksave then quickload, I lose everything in my inventory. is this intended?
Will this game work on steam deck
I’m developing the game on Arch Linux (what SteamOS is using under the hood) and has controller support, so it should work fine.
I wish I could support this project and play the newest realese tho, sadly my bank card and country doesn't work on the sides you use. Is there somehow a other way to support you and get access to the newest version?

I've been keeping track of this project for a good while now. I like the potential the free version already demonstrates, but I think the gap between the free and subbed versions is too large. I can't just support every single one of these projects I find, as much as I want to! And it gets really stale and disappointing to only see an update after *several* months that adds *almost nothing* in comparison with what the supporters get. A *consistent* one version delay (e.g. if current version is 0.1.5.X, free version being the latest 0.1.4.X), like I see in other projects, would help maintain interest and potentially draw in new paying supporters. Not like the old versions can make any money to you anymore.
Could you release an updated version on itch.io? It could be one version earlier than the latest one. Some of our users are unable to use their domestic bank cards to support you on the two websites you chose. We cannot use PayPal either. We hope you can sell software keys on itch.io for the verification of the official version. For the beta version of the game, we suggest a one-time purchase system (one version earlier than the latest one). After the latest version is released, based on the number of purchases on itch.io, offer discounts to those who buy the official version.

The game is still a work-in-progress, while i’m building the game, the current version available here is the free version. If you want the up-to-date version of the game, check the end of the description.
You only have one sub tier, and certainly they deserve the most current and up-to-date. Not asking for the world here, just maybe one version back from current. Even two versions back would be 0.1.3, one better than what's up here and getting stale. It's work already done, you really can't extract any more income from it, so why not update to *.3 or *.4 here?

Open the inventory, if you want to change the body and hairstyle of your character, there’s a “Body customization” button. If you want to change the outfit of the character, go to the wardrobe page.
How do I remove restraints? I'm running around with just a gag and can't figure out how to take it off.

That is an old bug fixed in subscriber versions. I don’t remember which version i fixed that bug exactly.

Another reason to update what's on this platform to something between what's here now (0.1.2) and the current (subscriber) version (~.5); obviously buggy games are not a good selling point, which it what you're trying to accomplish by having it here, right? If you don't remember the fix, then there's a 50% chance you fixed it on ~.3, if that's the extent you update here, and a 50% chance we all get a better playing experience. Including potential buyers.

Updates (now at 0.1.5) are for subscribers only. FOMO. The public version as as good as we out here get.

When I try to run it under Linux, I get the following error:
./THEg.x86_64: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.38' not found (required by ./THEg.x86_64)
The highest version of libc my distribution (the latest release of Linux Mint, fully up to date) offers via their repository is 2.35! Could you possibly recompile this with the slightly older libc version for broader cross-distribution compatibility?
That’s because i originally compiled the prototype without static linking libraries on Arch Linux. In recent releases for subscribers i did recompile it using static linking which i don’t know if it has fixed the problem since i’m not using any Debian based distros.
If the problem persist, i’ll try to make a Flatpak version of it.
Just tested 0.1.1 version on Linux Mint 22.1, the game runs fine.
Weird, that's close to (if not older than) what I'm running. I redownloaded the game and tried again, same result. Which DE are you using, nargacu? I'm using Cinnamon. I don't have my install media handy, so I don't recall the exact version. "uname -a" comes back with:

Good to see other DID game but the game still needs optimization. Even though the graphics of the game are not very high like AA game, it still makes my PC work harder than other my games.
I think it would be more appropriate if the movement system was a long-running animation like the NPCs do, because it would be unnatural and weird for the player to have to press left and right buttons and character move like puppet doll, unless the presses change the animations in different positions, then I'm okay.
